Over the past year the Doghook team has been working on developing the Doghook Safety System. Those of you familiar with Doghook know that we are passionate about dog safety and making the most sustainable, longest lasting, highest quality, most innovative solutions available. 

A few months ago we quietly launched our line of multifunction “Belay” leash products. Our Belay leash can be easily configured to put a loop at any length. Our Belay device also allows you to secure a dog’s leash around a table or other secure object without unclipping the leash, as well as securely holding a used waste bag to free up your hands and reduce stinky mess. Our leashes are assembled in the US with heavy duty cordage and  components. Belay leashes come in 6 and 8 foot lengths and employ high quality stainless steel trigger clips, reusable cordage clamps and our innovative, multifunction Belay device. 

In developing a new type of leash, we thought long and hard about what our ideal leash needed to be. Heavy duty yet lightweight, high quality and durable, fully adjustable and packed with innovative, useful features. So far, the Belay leash is a hit.

In a few weeks we will be launching our new line of smart-tactical dog safety harnesses. Of course our harnesses are made to last with double stitched seams and durable, breathable fabrics but they also feature an integrated dog waste bag dispenser and front and back leash clip points. Our functional yet attractive harnesses are fully adjustable and have 2”x3” velcro patch points to customize with your dogs’ name or service/working dog patches. The harnesses will come in 3 sizes (small, medium and large) and 4 colors (gray, black, tan and purple.)
